Working with Young People:

Academic Day

  • Birney Elementary Agriculture and Environmental Sciences Program: Teach academic garden classes to all grades weekly – 15 hours/week
  • McKinley Elementary Octopus Garden: Teach academic garden to K-3 weekly – 10 hours/week

Garden Clubs

  • Birney Elementary – 2 hrs per week in 8wk sessions
  • Saint Patrick’s Elementary – 1.5 hrs in 6-8 week sessions
  • Soon McKinley Elementary -2 hrs per week

Garden Camps (enrichment)

Mentor developing garden programs

  • Sherman Elementary (Training in Spanish for parents running garden club)
